I-69 work is halted, and East Chicago residents are worried about lead contamination.
Workers on the I-69 project haven’t been getting paid for months and this week some of them walked off the job. How long will traffic jams continue and when will the road be finished? Plus residents in East Chicago have more questions than answers after the EPA notified them of seriously high levels of lead contamination in their soil. Coming up we visit some of the hardest hit areas.
