Everyone facing criminal charges is supposed to get an attorney, regardless of their ability to pay. But then who foots the bill? It’s been 50 years in the making. This week city leaders and residents from two Indiana communities honored Carol Jenkins-Davis, who was stabbed to death in Martinsville in a racially-motivated crime. And efforts to double the size of the state’s longest trail.
